ELLEN GRAY-CHILDREN`S DIVISION DIRECTOR

Ellen Gray grew up in New York, dancing from a young age through her High School years.  She was accepted into her home town New York Performing Arts High School for Dance. She attended for her high school years while dancing competitively and started her teaching career while on her high school kick line team. 

Growing up in the Big Apple gave  Ellen the opportunities to learn from some of the best dance professionals in the industry in New York City for her own dance training, as well as teacher training . This made her the well rounded teacher in all forms of Dance and Gymnastics that she is today.

Ellen brings over 25 plus years teaching experience in the Dance and Gymnastics industry . Teaching all forms of Dance, Acro & Gymnastics to Competition Teams & non- competitive students. She is well diversed in Creative Dance, Music & Movement , Ballroom, Acro, Gymnastics, Kids Yoga & Mommy & Me , Flexibility & Strength Conditioning for Dancers/ Gymnasts . In addition , she instructs dance camps & Tea Parties. She brought her love of children to  Miami & Palm Beach for 10 years, where she created her own Dance & Gymnastics company " The Dance Club 4 -Kidz & Kidznastics."  Miss Ellen and her company specialized the focus to the preschool to early childhood age child.

" The Dance Club 4 Kidz " was contracted to teach at the Florida International University Campus Preschool, the Palm Beach County & Miami School District schools. She also taught Music & Movement & Dance at Preschools, Private schools & Daycares across South Florida .  

In Miami, Ellen also spent her years teaching for Gymboree & MY Gym Mommy & ME music & movement classes to newborns through Kindergarten age children . Her love of Ballet leaped right into landing a job at the prestigious Miami City Ballet as a Dance marketing manager in their box office .At Miami's Children Hospital,  she volunteered her time as a disc jockey for an in house radio station called "Radio Lollipop." 

After relocating her company to Texas 15 years ago. She started off in Houston with Two Dance locations at JazmaTaz Dance Studio &The Woodlands Recreation Center. In 2002, Dance Club 4 Kidz Woodlands location was awarded the Arts and Humanities Award for the most creative and innovative programming within a recreation department in the state of Texas.  The award honors excellence in programming in Arts and Humanities.

For the past 10 years Miss Ellen has been the Director of a Kinder Gym Program and a Competitive Gymnastics Team & Dance coach for USAG levels pre-team through Compulsory Level 6. Holding a professional USAG membership in the Woman's discipline, USAG certified KAT (Kinder Accreditation for teachers), Team USA SAFE SPORT certified, USAG Safety & Risk Management certified, USAG Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid Certified,  USAG Instructor certified ,USAG  Junior Olympic Development Gymnastics Competitive Coach certified and USAG Acrobatic Certified. 


Miss Ellen is a loving and devoted teacher, as well as the proud mom to her 15 year old daughter Jaden,  who is also a Dancer. Together they share the same passion for Dance & Gymnastics.  We hope you enjoy her passion to teach the " little ones" classes as much as she enjoys teaching them!
